What is the quality of the visitor who exists before the visit and still exists after the visit? What is the quality that we have, you have, I have, that has the capacity to come on this earth temporarily and yet is not contained by that time of the duration of our visit?
So we've lost Saranda. In life anyway. On Saturday 29/6 I got this mail from Sarvasati: This night, Saranda left this world.
So this has been a tradition for thousands of years, you let go of all you’ve been possessing and been possessed by, and then you can come into open space, you’re more likely to be able to move into open space, and that which I speak of which can take over your life comes from open space, or what seems to human beings to be open space.
So he felt from the very beginning, and hardly any disruptions from that, that what he was missing in his life he might get through the connection with me... There has to be this resonance, otherwise, to go to a teacher you don’t have resonance with, it’s just information – teachings that don’t have a flow of blood in them.
When you are in an enlightened space, I don’t just mean if you become altogether enlightened... a characteristic of the space of enlightenment is that you are content. You want for nothing. The way you are, the state you’re in, is complete and it’s sufficient, and there’s no longing anymore for anything. But what about when you’re not in the enlightened space?

Not only is the ego limited to what it can contain, but believing that the ego is who you are means that you will reject anything that may touch you from beyond the ego realm.
What is the flavour of life before we use it in any direction, before we employ it towards something? That’s what I’m asking you, now, and that’s what I was asking myself while we were sitting for that hour – not for the first time – but for the whole hour I was tasting the fact of aliveness, allowing that to be me, without anything added afterwards that I can describe, “Ah, my life, I’m a spiritual teacher, I do this, I do seminars.” Before any such evaluation of my life, what is the taste of the source of life?
